Today was a very lovely day. We woke up early and we went to visit Danny's great nan, she is 93 years old and still in great shape. We talked about our travels, and then she put the kettle on and served us tea with biscuits.

She is such an inspiration and it is great to see her truly happy and feeling accomplished with an extraordinary life. She showed us the pictures from when she went on a motorbike ride at 80 years old, and pictures of her uncles who were the first in the family to arrive in Australia.
We managed to snap these shots on our way home, the weather has been good to us lately and it truly feels like Spring is on the way!

I so agree! sadly, my grandparents live in Spain, so they are far from me and I miss them so much! It is so important to stay connected with family

ReplyDeleteYour whole outfit is just the cutest thing - I love it! I always enjoy talking to older people because they always have wonderful stories to tell. My mother works at a nursing home so I get to always talk to them, its wonderful.
